The Salute to the Class of 2012 will include opening remarks from an esteemed member of the New York University community and a keynote speech by renowned artist Michael Mayer.
Michael Mayer is an award winning theatre and film director whose credits include American Idiot, Spring Awakening, and most recently director and consulting producer credit on the NBC show, "Smash." His full biography and picture are available under related links.
This year's student speaker will be Jennifer Kinney from the Department of Photography and Imaging. Biography and picture available under related links.
Dean Mary Schmidt Campbell will address the graduating class with a speech that reflects on previous achievements from the Class of 2012 and encourages those achievements yet to come. A transcript of last year's speech is available here to download.
The Tisch Salute will also feature:
